Local Offer

Part of the SEND Local Offer:
SEND Local Offer details:
We provide a playgroup service for children aged 2 years 6 months to school age operating from the village hall in Old Catton. We aim to meet the needs of each child as an individual regardless of difference and diversity. We believe that all children should feel valued and confident and should be cared for in a warm and loving environment. We will work with parents at all stages of the childs education and care to ensure our principles are put into practice. At Busy Beavers Playgroup we support Safeguarding, Speech and Language, Behaviour Management and the Autistic Spectrum. You can access our service by arranging an initial meeting with us. Every child at Busy Beavers Playgroup will have a key person to support them. Ongoing observational assessments are made on all children and are linked to the Development Matters ages and stages of development. We have wheelchair access and disabled parking and toilet facilities. We provide lower table activities of variable heights and resources suitable to the age and stage of development of the child. We have a trained Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator to support children with additional needs. We have received training in English as an additional language, behaviour management training, autistic spectrum and will undertake additional training as required. If you have a compliment or complaint you feel you cannot approach me with you need to contact Ofsted on 0300 1231231.
